Programme Outline
Physikids is as a result of Kerry County Childcare Committee and Kerry Recreation & Sports Partnership pooling expertise and resources to address a need within childcare provision. This fun filled three hour workshop is specifically designed for Childminders and children within their care, with a primary focus on physical activity through play.
Programme Aims
- To furnish Childminders with the skills, games and equipment to enable children to lead a physically active lifestyle
- To develop physical activity skills as well as the creative, personal, social and emotional capabilities of the children
- To influence in children a positive attitude to physical activity
